Next Gen

Since my earliest memories one of the biggest advice points I have ever received has come from my dad. His favorite saying "Don't burn your bridges." I have never experienced something so true in my entire life. Building connections with people and even if you don't entirely like them keeping them is one of the greatest things you can do.

I recently got to experience a local Next Gen event in order for young business minded individuals got to hear and talk to business professionals about their experiences and their tips and tricks for us. The reason don't burn your bridges came into mind is because I had gotten to speak to multiple individuals I hadn't seen in a very long time and who had only known me as a little kid. Getting to speak to them not only about business or experience I got to talk to them as any normal person would.

Building connections gets you opportunities it gets your name around, makes you more friends, and makes you memorable. These bridges are something of great importance in life and especially for business. Building bridges and shaking hands is an important thing for everyone to do, it helps humans communicate and grow stronger together so just remember every time to meet someone build a connection with them one they won't forget.
